Inclusive education

We work towards Education for All (EFA), a fundamental policy where no child is denied access to quality education. CBM India’s Inclusive education focusses on promoting equitable, quality, lifelong inclusive education provision for all with a community-based approach and a specific focus on girls, boys, women and men with disabilities living in low income settings.

Inclusive health

CBM India works to reduce avoidable blindness and other impairments and make sure that people who are permanently affected can access support and opportunities. Our work in Inclusive Eye Health is in conjunction with the national programme for control of blindness and improving access to comprehensive and inclusive eye health services in the country.

Inclusive livelihood

Our Inclusive livelihood models aim at providing women and men with disabilities having low or no income with equal access to mainstream economic activities. We help them to come together and develop hyper local inclusive institutions in creating sustainable livelihood opportunities and fair income.

Humanitarian response

Disaster traumatises all. Often the most economically disadvantaged, people with disabilities are the worst hit. We work with local partner organisations and Organisations of People with Disabilities in preparing and responding to emergencies in India in an inclusive model.
